My update was by mistake. I did not see the warning and no I wouldn't moan. I've searched Google and you can only downgrade from iOS 7.0, not 7.0.2, unless you use some effin' blobs, SHSH, jailbreak l337 tools, pwnage and whatever. I DONT UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS!!! I just want iOS 6 back Sad

Edit: It says I can't downgrade at all! Wai u lie?!

When I was testing the BETA of iOS 7, you had to download a iOS6 backup and force it on itunes to restore from that backup. you'd loose all your stuff but you'd have iOS 6 back

But I'm on 7.0.2, meaning I can't downgrade or restore. This is the issue.

I wasn't aware of Apple's warning. I needed the blocking function anyway on iOS 7.

Pretty sure it'd still work even if you're on iOS 7.0.2. They said you couldn't downgrade on iOS 7 BETA but you still could. Like I said download a iOS 6 backup from a site (Make sure its not dodgy) go on itunes, hold shift and click "Restore iPhone...", find the iOS file you downloaded and force it to update. Smile

A couple things that really annoy me in iOS 7 are how everything moves too much and how the animations are so goddamn slow, especially the one when you unlock the phone and it opens the home screen.

I always try to swipe to the next tab but can't get anywhere because the animation hasn't finished, and when the icons and everything stop, I can't do anything for about half a second Cursing

Thank god they didn't ruin OS X though.. Yet.

I did a backup of my phone before I installed iOS 7.0.2. Does this mean if I load that backup file, that it restores the OS as well?

If you backed up to your PC then yep. You just need to find where Apple hide their backups.

Should always backup to icloud to save your self hassle.

That is because Apple has stopped signing iOS 6.1.4 (for iPhone 5) and iOS 6.1.3 (for all the compatible devices).

You cannot downgrade back to iOS6 if you have an iOS device, which has an A5 or newer chip so iOS devices such as iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, the iPads and iPod touch 5G. The only iOS 7 compatible device that can be downgraded from iOS 7 to iOS 6 is the iPhone 4. (SHSH Files)

Sucks aye, and even with SHSH saved from cydia they will not work now! As they are corrupt;

I am here to be the bearer of bad news that will likely cause me to get a ton of hatemail. Specifically, I am writing this to tell everyone that the TSS data Cydia saved for iOS 6.0-6.1.2 is unusable. I’m also going to attempt to explain some background on the process, what the mistake was, and what users can now do instead.

The word “useless” is important, as it is not accurate to use the word “corrupt”: the data that was uploaded was not lost or damaged, and in fact all of the tickets that were stored verified per the algorithm from MuscleNerd.

Instead, the requests being made via Cydia to collect SHSH information for iOS 6 did not result in useful tickets. This is because, in order to better emulate the requests Apple had been making when I first started the service, I filter the manifests I send to Apple to only include information about files that had the partial digests I discussed earlier, as only files that have partial digests are relevant for SHSH.

However, the APTicket signs complete digests, not partial digests, and so even descriptions of files that do not have partial digests need to be sent to TSS to get a complete ticket. What really should therefore be used as a filter is “files with digest information at all”, not just those that have partial digests (there is never a partial digest without a full digest), effectively finding all “real” files.

The result is that the APTickets that were downloaded and saved by Cydia itself are not sufficient to boot a device.

Need to of saved your Cydia SHSH blobs if you had jailbroken your device, if you hadn't you can't.
