I would think so as the MK1 is modified and therefore appeals to a smaller market.

not sure if vr6 would be easier to sell cause of fuel and insurance for other people and may end up not being able to sell it for as much.

Says only done just under 50k miles, not sure if that true.

I think after seeing that now i would change my opinion, as you said fuel would be mega and same with insurance. I would expect a Mint MK3 in straight swap for your mk1, Stevo.

Ordered a new starter to Taunus and got 5m of 50mm^2 cable from a
previous workplace.

Still need some parts to complete taunus:
2* 44mm air filters
dump
bigger injectors
new sparkplugs and leads
boost gauge
afr gauge
and some small bits...
