- Reporting User. (Archived by Josh)
Hello.
My username/ingame name ": Paulw95 - [COP] Paul " Reported user's Username/Ingame name ": TRR W.Lemmens - ROCKclan " Reason : Correct me if im wrong, but this user has a history of he's way of behaving in the TC community. After a chase wich he did not agree the fine with he started talking to me about it, wich is fine. After a while I see him translating a few things of jebberish wich many wont understand. Till the point he came by the word " Miereneuker " And even when he knows he was purposibly wrong he still comes up with a exuse wich leads no where. I reported this user because of the knowledge of this user and the way this user inteded he's words publicly. As I remember a quote from chuck it goes " You are responsible for what you translate into the public chat, so you should watch it " This is the other reason I think it's needed that this user learns from hes " Mistake? " Wich wasn't so accidental in my eyes. Spoiler (Click to View) Times ": Allready requested " The real prove is actually in the insim itself.. Im asking a TC to please lookback the chatlogs from around 12:30 my time ( Europe ). Eventhough he tried to translate he's insultive words in public to "Whiner" To me, I still think he should not behave that way when he doesnt agree with something. Thanks ~Paul |

RE: Reporting User.
Looking now
I haven't looked at the replay yet as I don't feel watching why the chase was started will be of any use - however I cannot see anything in the chatlog that would cause any real concern. I can see "!t mierenneuker" (which comes back as Dutch but doesn't translate to anything in Google or Bing translate). I also saw "i tried to translate that to a english word" ... "well im sorry, but just tried to call you a whiner"., which I don't think is hugely concerning - to be honest it would be easier just to ignore this. |

RE: Reporting User.
Mieren neuker can be 2 things really, either an insult, or "a compliment" (if your a cop) to find the smallest mistakes, errors (bugs, etc) to point out how "wrong" someone is.

RE: Reporting User.
In my opinion this report has been taken a bit to simple..
The meaning by this insult is bigger than the translation is.. So said he even meant to insult me with it. He's reacting rude and swears it off really easaly. I know he has done this allot before, he still din't learn from he's ban prevusly.. I'm asking for another eye on this case please. No offence josh, but can some other TC please look at this situation? Thank you. Spoiler (Click to View) |

RE: Reporting User.
That's the literal translation Frozen, and incorrect in this situation.
The way Johan explained it comes closest to it. I'll fly away now. *flies away* |

RE: Reporting User.
Being a supervisor, and given the circumstances in which a Leader has taken care of this report, I would initially be disclined to go against the view of a senior member of the team.
However, having spend years as a leader, and having been in the team for over 5 years now, I realised that I am probably as well qualified to pass judgement. So having thought about this and viewed the circumstances, I have realised that the reason Josh is a leader and I was initially disinclined to disagree with his view, is that his view is fairly spot on for this. If there are further incidents involving this user in the future then it is feasible then this may be used to aid a decision, however this isolated incident (I am more than aware of the users history) is not one which would usually result in action, beyond a small tap on the shoulder and a quiet word asking the user to speak english at all times. |
