Just because there have been worse conditions without any incidents doesn't mean these conditions were safe, that's a fallacy. At some point you should reconsider procedures.

Again, F1 is motor racing and it never is completely safe. Ever.

And no, they shouldn't have reconsidered any procedures at that point, Jules should have reconsidered his speed.

Yes, shit happens in motor racing, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to practice it as safe as possible. This was just a dumb accident that could easily have been avoided.
