RE: Cop reporting
Hello,
FORCE: The PIT (Precision Immobilisation Technique): PITs into solid objects (barriers, ARMCO, …) are permissible but not recommended as it can endanger yourself and others, and is seen as a dirty tactic. Cop guide in manual section. Also, You should always try talking to rule-breakers first. A lot of problems can be resolved by politely talking to people. With that being said, severe rule-breaks should still be reported after. Nonetheless , i am sorry you felt upset about how cops treated you during the chase, incluiding this timestamp, you should expect cops to be more harsh on you when you endanger others and just don't seem appropriate for you to keep being chase (eg: crashing into other vehicles when ww or pushing other vehicles out of your way), even tho your ping played a big role in the outcome of the contacts during the chase. |

This report is being reviewed
Please be patient, we will reply shortly. Thank you for the report. I understand why you're cross, as your chase had been ended and your car did travelled a fair distance. What the cop did was permissible by the rules. There was no oncoming traffic, risk was minimal and it was a good moment to pit, it's just that you ended up colliding with the barrier. It is clear in the replay you were not purposely pushed into it - which is against the rules. Most of the time, cops don't intend to purposefully crash people into barriers, I will give him the benefit of the doubt, given his experience. The correct thing to do in my opinion, would be to possibly apologise? A very generous player may even refund a portion of the chase earnings. But they don't have to do either of them. Furthermore, I checked the chat logs to see if you tried to resolve the incident in chat. wtf bro? and ? is not an attempt at conversation. Next time, ask them why they did it - it may have been a mistake and they may apologise or whatever. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. No action has been taken as explained
Thank you for your report, it has now been moved to the archives. |
