Is it just putting a layer with some holes in Photoshop over the area where the lights are?

And yes, basically. What I did, was to put a black mask over the light I wanted to change. Then I initially made some simple lines in a dark red color, that would then be the brake lights in game. Eventually I stumbled upon some very nice LED lights on google images, which are the ones I am using now.
It's mostly trial and error though. It is quite basic.

1000km trip try 2 of today with Ossi. First try ruined by wrongsiding cop trying to tow me and sending me OOB.....



Our plan is to start with LX4s then change to some +4 cars at 250kms and at 500km and so on.

SO, 6S and TT in one photo, what else could you ask for?
