Did you convert a video to GIF or did you take a shitload of screenies? The speeding up could be inconsistency in taking screenshots.

Gifcam. Basically records your screen and converts it into a .gif.
Tried another one recorded at 33fps. Still fast forwards

I was busy and have a 1mbps upload line.
You need a longer pause inbetween the individual images to slow the GIF down
