Well I bought a car aswell a while back.. Been a while since I've owned a car, but I figured I could go two ways.. Either get a light small and economical car... or the complete oposite and actually get the car I've always wanted since being a young boy.
I present to you.. My 330i with stock EVERYTHING. Even the headunit is still (well partly) there. Apparently it has the second choice of sound system you could get back in the day, meaning there'd be 3 speakers in each front door (1 big one, 2 tweeters), one for each door in the back and 2 in the back-back.
One of the first things I did... was a full service.. These days I work at a car company so I get a lot of parts for .. well atleast with a huge discount, so 350$ in parts later.. The sparkplugs, oil, oilfilter, transmission oil, diff oil, interior filter and airfilter were replaced/serviced.
Also did the famous oilfilter house gasket replace.. It was pouring oil all over the place.
Followed by a headlight restoration! I am still shocked by how nice they turned out..

Oh and I also took it to the Nurburgring already! Was a blast with Paul and Vincent.. Turns out the 330 is slightly faster than Paul's e60 523i, haha.
I only killed my rear inner light and powersteering pump (the first on track, the other in a hairpin, quite fun, driving 450k's back home without powersteering). So both are going to replaced this week, also expecting a new fender as the right one is quite.. crusty.
So for the rest of this year it'll likely be just maintaining the car, fixing issues (as boy it has some, the rear suspension needs fixing, there's a coolant leak, the radio has no service at all, someone took out the stock amplifyer so the rear speakers don't do anything, I've partly replaced the 2 back window mechanisms still have to place the right rear electical engine thingy for it to actually work). Oh and there's some rust patches that need fixing.
Maybe next year I'll fit some cool wheels and lower the car and what not. Can't wait!
This car... Its so much fun. Blip the throttle when its a bit wet and it'll start sliding.
AND THE SOUND.. Its so addiciting to rev-match when downshifting.
