I prefer the option to have the chance of have in every car a lightbar
If any sort of lightbar will be implemented, I'm quite sure it would be made for some of the specific, already existing cars.

Yes , thats what i meaned , to add/modify the existing VOB mods or just how they do it , but just on the existing cars.

Also , im sure that them will add (if they do it) something for RAC and LX. And if those cars , have been able to cop those days , will be able to do in future. Or maybe , only for VCUs , as undercover...

Audio :

Reduced the minimum volume to play a sound (can hear further away)
Added doppler effect to all car sounds that didn't have it already
Removed doppler effect resulting from SHIFT+U mode camera velocity
Updated commands.txt with commands /cansiren /siren /ujoin /uai

Siren sound :

Command /cansiren now works on players that have not joined race
Command /cansiren username 0 now switches off username's siren

Fix :

Fixed a recently introduced bug in the /key and /button commands

What bug is that? Everything is fine for me Biggrin
The sound appears looped (muted when not in use) instead of starting from the beginning every time you press the horn key.
(A bit off-topic, I started to make my sirens for the update. Smile )

Lesson editor :

Reverse and open configurations may now be selected
Lesson image filename no longer needs to start with zzz_
Image does not need to be square (but is still shown in a square)
On entry to lesson editor the current track and config are selected
You can now select the lighting (weather) for a lesson

InSim :

New ISS state flags to notify if local PC is in dialog / text entry
New packet SMALL_LCS - set local car switches (lights, horn, siren)

Misc :

Input and sound are now enabled by default when LFS is not focussed
Mouse click on demo exit screen now exits LFS or opens http://www.lfs.net
Layout editor now allows unmovable objects to intersect

Fixes :

Out-of-path start warning incorrectly showed local player name
Dedicated server did not search for path after out-of-path start
Non-dedicated server could crash if guest driver drove off track
Possible crash if a shadowed object near a paused car was deleted
Possible crash if texture resolution changed while generating
Alt Gr key + number could cause text colour to change
there is an strange with horn sound, like press V 5 times to that view and sound get abit weird. anyone else got does know what i mean?
Its the Doppler effect.

Basically its the same as real life. When a police car/ambulance or whatever passes you, the sound is being thrown out AWAY from you once it has passed, so it sounds different.

This has basically been replicated in LFS.

Starting to get tired of how often updates are rolling out. Only had a 0.6M rev bouncer for about a week and now it's redundant.

Don't take this as a direct dig at you, but the LFS Dev's cannot win..

If they don't release any updates for ages, they get backlash from the community saying there is no progress.
Now they are releasing fairly regular updates, there are people moaning about that too lol.
